“Disclaimer: I was provided a copy of this book from the author to facilitate this review. As always, all opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.”
I love doing book reviews because it gives me an opportunity to be exposed to new and unique books. I love to dissect, admire, and really get a feel for the book and the message that it entails.
(This a mixture of what I feel when I get a new book: anxious, happy, nerdy, and excited)
Anyway I have been reviewed a few books, and most children’s books are geared towards self esteem, or hair, or family, or friendships, which are all cool, but I was interested in this particular book because the message was unique:
It’s about Little Freddie getting out there and being interested in the various sports that are out there. He is a vibrant little boy, and very anxious to get out and just play any and all sports. Along with each sport the author gives you a background of someone famous that has made an impact in that sport. You get to see Little Freddie, admiring the legends, while challenging them (in a respectful, cute way).
This book is definitely a great read for our little ones, it gives them some sports history, and inspires them to seek out challenges of the different sports.
My motto: “Never get too comfortable, always keep GOD first”
